Artificial Intelligence · Lesson 1

What does AI stand for?

AI stands for artificial intelligence. It describes computer systems that can perform tasks such as recognising patterns, understanding language and making predictions. AI is not a human mind.

Creative computing

Try Vibe Coding

Vibe coding means describing a website or app idea in everyday language so an AI coding tool can help build it. You don't have to start by knowing a programming language. But you still need to test what gets created, understand errors and keep private information safe.

Try this example prompt

"Build a simple revision quiz with five maths questions, a Check Answer button and a progress bar. Make it easy to read on a phone."

Next, check the questions, try every button and ask the AI to fix anything that doesn't work.
