Authentication

Send your approved secret in the X-GABBii-API-Key header. Keep it in a server-side secret manager; never publish it inside browser JavaScript, a mobile app bundle or a public repository.

Request body

query: required text, 1–120 characters. limit: optional integer from 1–20, default 10. domain: optional hostname, such as constructionjobshub.com, to return results from that website and its subdomains only.

Search one website

Set domain to search only an indexed website. Hostnames are checked exactly, including subdomains, to exclude similarly named outside websites. The beta examines the first 100 matching index candidates and may return fewer results while indexing expands.

Errors

400 invalid request · 401 invalid, pending or revoked key · 429 quota exceeded · 503 index unavailable. Retry later after a 429 or 503; do not loop rapidly.
